The Farukh Ruzimatov Foundation

The Farukh Ruzimatov Foundation is a non-governmental organization. The mission of the foundation is to contribute to the development of the contemporary musical and theatrical art of Russia. It raises funds as well as mobilizes intellectual, information, and other resources in order to support programs and projects which aim to support the development of theatrical, musical, and dance art. Specifically, the Foundation goals are

• To contribute to organization of theater festivals and other activities, in which principle dancers and companies of Russian theater participate; such activities should be aimed at development of education, science, culture, and arts;
• To provide financial and other support to stage productions, theater performances, and other spectacular events within the framework of the Foundation programs;
• To contribute to organization of tours of principle dancers, companies, and orchestras of the Russian Federation in order to further develop the theatrical art of Russia;
• To strengthen international cultural cooperation and professional bonds between artists;
• To contribute to the international cooperation and communication among artists;
• To contribute to the professional development and education in the sphere of the ballet art.

The Foundation Board of Trustees

The Foundation Board of Trustees contributes to implementation of the Foundation charter aims and objectives and supervises the Foundation activities. The Foundation Trustees Counsel is comprised representatives of big business as well as prominent artists of the Russian Federation such as
Nikita Dolgushin, People's Artist of the USSR, professor, laureate of the 1st Prize of the Varna Ballet Competition, laureate of the Paris University of Dance Prize, Laureate of the Aorld academy of science, culture and art, chevalier of the 'Catherine the Great' Order of the public recognition, magister of the knight order 'Holy Rus', 'Knight of ballet' (national award 'The soul of dance', Man of the year 2003, Honored artist of Russia;

The Head of the Board of Trustees is Zorina Myskova, Counsel of the Minister of Culture and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, Director General of the leading audit company in the North-West of Russia OOO 'BDO Unicon North-West'.

The president of the Foundation is Farukh Rusimatov, the world-renowned Russian artist, recognized as one of the leading principal dancers in the ballet world.

The Farukh Ruzimatov Foundation is an open organization which welcomes cooperation with cultural institutions, corporate and individual donors, professional companies and individual artists, professional associations, etc.
