Since 1985 Francesca Zumbo is a teacher of the Opera National de Paris ballet school. She works with undergraduate students, trying her best to help the young dances to reach real perfection. Francesca Zumbo has danced in the Grand Opera since 1963. With the Paris troupe she not once visited Kiev, Moscow and Leningrad. Many people remember her triumphal appearance in Moscow, in the 1st International Ballet Competition of 1969, together with the excellent performance of young Mikhail Baryshnikov. At that competition Francesca Zumbo and her partner Patrice Bart were awarded a golden medal. Their pas de deux from ballet «Bakhti» (choreography of Maurice Bejart) became a real sensation for Moscow public.

Francesca worked with such choreographers as George Balanchine, Maurice Bejart, Kenneth McMillan, Harald Lander, Roland Petit, Pierre Lakotte. A separate chapter in her life is work with Rudolf Nuriev who highly appreciated the young ballet dancer. The master-classes of Francesca Zumbo are carried out in France, England and China.
